The bullet train of Social Justice—with its destructive cargo of envy-ridden wealth redistribution, racial animosity, toxic feminism, and perversions of human sexuality—is charging full speed through our culture and through the American Church.
This has been the overriding concern of many faithful Christians of late, and has prompted things like the Statement on Social Justice & the Gospel, along with multiple conferences and debates.
We agree with the goal stated by Dr. Voddie Baucham at one of those conferences:
To make writers and speakers ashamed of ever using the language of “social justice” again.
There is a war brewing for the hearts and minds of Christians. And there aren’t many good men and women who are willing to speak out. But praise God, there are some. And some are all He needs.
One key aspect of our mission at For the New Christian Intellectual is to equip those brave men and women with the intellectual armor and ammunition they need to be victorious in this fight.
Because the need for intellectual ammunition in this fight is so urgent, and because we believe FTNCI could play a crucial role in this ideological war, we have decided to formally organize as a non-profit institution.
For His Gospel, His Church, & His Glory
Our prayer is that, through the passionate giving of His remnant, God would provide the resources necessary for FTNCI to become a mighty weapon in this battle for the truth of His Gospel, the health of His Church, and redemption of His glory. Of course, He could do it without us. And we could not do it without Him. But it is our part to “be strong, and to fight bravely for the people of God. And let the Lord do what seems good to Him” (2 Samuel 10:12).
If you believe, as we do, that our battle is spiritual and ideological (Eph. 6:12), and that FTNCI is fit to aid in that battle, will you prayerfully consider donating to our cause?
In order to more fully engage in this fight, we have several immediate financial needs. There are many up-front costs associated with legally organizing as a non-profit and filing with the necessary government agencies to achieve 501(c)3 status. To cover these costs and to prepare for an adequate launch, our goal is to raise $3000.00 by September 1st of this year. Would you please pray for God to help us reach this initial goal? And as you do, would you consider investing $50, $100, or even $1,000 in this battle?
FTNCI Is Uniquely Qualified for This Work
Since we—Jacob Brunton & Cody Libolt—created For The New Christian Intellectual in September of 2016, we’ve been working hard to train Christians in the defense of those very ideals which the ‘Social Justice Warriors’ are raging against: Reason, Individualism, and Capitalism.

We Understand the Intellectual Landscape.
Cody and I have studied and earned degrees at some of the top evangelical schools, including Bethlehem College & Seminary in Minneapolis, MN, The Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, KY, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.
Together, we have more than 20 years of experience in studying and writing about both theology and philosophy—all with the aim of equipping the Church with an integrated approach to glorifying God in all of life, especially in the life of the mind.
We know that the most important battles throughout history have always been those in the war of ideas, and we know how desperately the Church needs strong thinkers to lead her through those battles. We don’t claim to be the only ones for the job, but our love for God’s truth and His glory has compelled us to ready ourselves for that battle in the hopes that we will be joined by many brothers.
Will you join us? If not by writing and speaking by our side, then through prayer and financial support?
Or you can give directly to our organization at any time and for any purpose here.
We are doing all we can to fight for God’s truth and God’s people. May the Lord now do in your heart what seems right to Him.
For His Glory,
